Description of the course:
A Day for Your Marriage was a seminar done by Parakletos
for the "New Life" organization which is a branch of the Czech office
of the Campus Cruisade for Christ. After Jesus movie which was used as an
evangelistic outreach in which many churches in the country in 2004 participated
some people responded and expressed an interest in learning more about the
Christian view of a marriage and family.
There
were about 30 participants in the seminar. The teaching covered issues like

The response of the people:
There were two elderly couples in
their 60s who were not Christians. One man in that couple at the end of the
seminar shared with tears in his eyes that during the seminar he understood how
much he failed in his relationship to his wife. His wife later called to Julia
and asked her for the meeting to follow up what she learned at the seminar.
Two couples asked for further
counseling and help in some specific areas.
One person expressed an interest
to organize in his home town a similar seminar for marriages from different
local churches in the area.
One young couple said that after
the seminar they talked until 2 am about their relationship and the topics
covered in the seminar.
