Don Smith graduated from Big Sky Bible College in Lewistown, Montana with a bachelor's degree in biblical studies. He is an ordained minister. He and his wife Becky now live in Muskegon, Michigan, where they have ministered to hurting couples since 1981. Don and Becky's ministry started with a couple they knew who were in the throes of divorce. Their seemingly hopeless struggle touched the Smiths deeply, and they sought to work with each of the partners. In the months that followed, Don devoted himself to understanding the couple's hurts and root problems. And God worked within the heart of this couple to build what they had never experienced before - commitment. A commitment to love and be loved, even in difficult moments. The couple, who had divorced, remarried with their three children bearing witness to the reuniting of their family. This experience led Don and Becky to establish Bridge
To Life Ministries in 1983. Since then, they have ministered to literally
thousands of hurting couples, both in the United States and abroad, including
the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Europe and Central America.
